Directed by Rahul Sadasivan, the Malayalam horror thriller film, Bramayugam was released in the theatres on 15 February 2024. Starring South star Mammootty in the lead role the horror thriller opened up to positive response from the moviegoers. According to recent updates, a leading OTT streaming platform has acquired the digital rights of the horror thriller at a significant sum.
Bramayugam OTT Release
Starring South actor Mammootty in the lead role, the digital rights of Rahul Sadasivan’s horror-thriller Malayalam film, “Bramayugam” have been acquired by the streaming giant, SonyLIV.
Meanwhile, talking about the OTT release date of the film is yet to be announced. The 8-week theatre window is the standard theatrical-to-digital window that typically spans around 8 weeks. This means the film will most probably be released on the OTT platform by April or May.

Directed by Rahul Sadasivan, the horror thriller also stars Sidharth Bharathan, Amalda Liz, and Arjun Ashokan in key roles. The first look of the film was unveiled on the occasion of Mammootty’s 72nd birth anniversary. Last month, the makers released the first teaser and its trailer was unveiled at an event held in Abu Dhabi. The film minted Rs 3 crore at the box office on its opening day.
