OTT platforms have experienced a tremendous surge in audience following the COVID-19 pandemic, with several renowned Bollywood actors such as Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sonakshi Sinha, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and many others venturing into the world of OTT and engaging in series and movies.
While the identity of the highest-paid actor among these remains undisclosed, according to DNA reports, Ajay Devgn commanded a staggering Rs 18 crore per episode for his OTT debut, ‘Rudra: The Edge of Darkness in 2022,’ which was streamed on Disney Hotstar. In total, Ajay Devgn accumulated a hefty sum of Rs 125 crore for his involvement in the series.
Another actor earning accolades for his performances on OTT platforms is Manoj Bajpayee. The versatile actor received immense praise for his portrayal of Srikant Tiwari in the crime thriller series, The Family Man. According to reports, Manoj Bajpayee received Rs 10 crore as his fee for his exceptional performance in the second season of The Family Man.
Apart from this, Ajay Devgn is set to grace the screen once again in an upcoming film titled “Vash.” Produced under his own banner, the movie will be helmed by director Vikas Bahl.
