FBI agents have arrested Actor Keith Lawrence Middlebrook, who starred in Iron Man 2 and TV hit Entourage for allegedly attempting to market a fake coronavirus antidote. Middlebrook is awaiting one felony count of attempted wire fraud for allegedly soliciting investment for a company named Quantum Prevention CV Inc. to sell pills which he believed would prevent COVID-19 infections and a shot to kill the virus, reports an entertainment portal.
He was arrested on March 25 in Los Angeles following an FBI sting, in which he allegedly delivered a pack of pills to an undercover agent posing as an investor.
Middlebrook “falsely claimed” to at least one a possible investor that basketball icon Earvin’ Magic’ Johnson was on the board of directors but, according to the affidavit, “Mr. Johnson confirmed to investigators that he knew nothing about Middlebrook’s company.”
