Vanessa Hudgens has officially confirmed her engagement to boyfriend Cole Tucker. The actress also took to social media to show off the massive diamond ring. Just a few days ago, reports of their engagement were swirling on the internet with speculations that the MLB player popped the question to the actress last year.
Meanwhile, recently Hudgens took to Instagram on Thursday and shared a photo of her and Cole. It appears the photo was taken in Paris, as the iconic Eiffel Tower can be seen far in the background. In the first photo, Cole can be seen hugging Hudgens while she flips her engagement ring finger. However, the next photo in the slide shows a close-up glimpse of the ring.
Alongside the sweet photos, the actress wrote in the caption, “YES. We couldn’t be happier.” Hudgens and Cole reportedly got engaged at the end of 2022. The engagement comes nearly two years after they were first spotted together in November 2020, and went Instagram official on Valentine’s Day in 2021.
For the unversed, Vanessa first met Cole through Zoom while virtually attending Joe Jonas’ meditation group back in 2020. However, the couple were first linked together after they were spotted holding hands in November 2020. Hudgens and Tucker made their relationship Instagram official on Valentine’s Day in 2021.
Meanwhile, Cole is Vanessa’s first boyfriend since her eight-year romance with Elvis star Austin Butler ended shortly after Halloween 2019. It was revealed in early 2020 that Butler and his long-term partner Hudgens had decided to go their separate ways. The now-former couple reportedly broke up in late 2019, but it became official in January of the following year.
Vanessa and Austin first started dating in September 2011 and went public with their relationship in July 2012 at the premiere of her film Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. Moreover, there were rumours in December 2017 that Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler had become engaged when the actress flashed a diamond ring on her wedding finger. However, she later denied the claims.
