The surprising news for Katy and Orlando comes only a month after the new mom shared her initial pregnancy news with her fans by debuting her baby bump in her “Never Worn White” music video. The sudden moment surprised fans because it was well covered by the “Firework” crooner and she announced she was expecting her baby in a Livestream Instagram she kept after the video’s premiere in the summer.
“I’m excited, we’re excited and we’re happy — and it’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep,” she said going live on Instagram. “I knew I would tell you in the best way, which is through a piece of music because that’s how I speak to you. I had to reveal it at some point because it was getting pretty obvious.”
Katy’s newest bundle of joy would make her a mom for the first time and Orlando a dad for the second. The star of the Lord of the Rings is also the father of his son Flynn, who is nine years old, and who he shares with ex Miranda Kerr, 37. Katy and Orlando first began dating in 2016 and went on for more than a year before breaking up. However, by August 2017 they were back on and were engaged on Feb 14, 2019.
