Christopher Nolan has once again amazed the audience with his cinematic vision. The man, known for delivering Inception, Intersteller and Tenet, is back with another thrilling and mind-boggling movie titled Oppenheimer. It is a biographical thriller film based on the life and works of theoretical physicist, J Robert Oppenheimer who was pivotal in developing the first nuclear weapons and thus starting the atomic era. The film features Irish actor Cillian Murphy as titular role. Emily Blunt and Robert Downey Jr. play other pivotal roles in the film. His last release, Tenet is currently rated 7.3 with 539k votes on IMDb. His 2014 film Interstellar has 8.7 rating on the popular platform, while Leonardo DiCaprio starrer Inception has a rating of 8.8.

The IMDb rating of Oppenheimer is expected to fluctuate as more viewers will rate the film in the coming days. However, by looking at the initial reviews, the film seems to be another benchmark in the history of filmmaking and Christopher Nolan has delivered what is expected of him, that is creating a masterpiece.
Oppenheimer clashed with the much-awaited Barbie movie on 21 July. The fantasy film starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling is giving a tough fight to Nolan at the box office. Barbie is currently rated 7.7 out of 10.
