Her friends and Kobe’s fans were quick to respond to her heartfelt post, but Vanessa soon turned off her comment section like on the rest of her pictures.

Vanessa Bryant took to Instagram to release a heartbreaking statement following the tragic deaths of her husband NBA star Kobe Bryant and her “Mambacita” daughter Gianna.

“I wish they were here with us forever,” one line read in her heartrending statement.

The 41-year-old basketball superstar and his 13-year-old daughter were victims to a fatal helicopter crash along with seven other close friends in Calabasas, CA on Jan.26.
