Vanessa Bryant took to Instagram to release a heartbreaking statement following the tragic deaths of her husband NBA star Kobe Bryant and her “Mambacita” daughter Gianna.
“I wish they were here with us forever,” one line read in her heartrending statement.
The 41-year-old basketball superstar and his 13-year-old daughter were victims to a fatal helicopter crash along with seven other close friends in Calabasas, CA on Jan.26.
“My girls and I want to thank the millions of people who’ve shown support and love during this horrific time. Thank you for all the prayers. We definitely need them,” Vanessa said. “We are completely devastated by the sudden loss of my adoring husband, Kobe — the amazing father of our children; and my beautiful, sweet Gianna — a loving, thoughtful, and wonderful daughter, and amazing sister to Natalia, Bianka, and Capri,” the grieving wife and mum said in the emotional post.
