Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra tied the knot in 2018. The couple first talked via Twitter DMs in 2016, which continued for months. In 2017, they walked on the red carpet of the Met gala together. However, Nick and Priyanka made their relationship official in 2018. And Nick got on one knee to pop the question to Chopra on her birthday.
Priyanka and Nick celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary last month after welcoming their first daughter together last year. And Nick recently details the sweet story about how he asked his lady loves to spend the rest of their lives with him.
In a recent interview On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Nick revealed that some liquid courage helped him get the job done for his 2018 proposal to Priyanka Chopra. The singer shared, “I wanted to propose like, the day after her birthday… birthday was on the 18th, I proposed on the 19th, but I just did it at basically, midnight to make it two separate days.” Nick added, “At that point, we’d had a bottle of wine, so I was a little loose and I was feeling good.”
In other news, Nick and Priyanka celebrated their daughter’s first birthday on January 15. Nick explained why he and Priyanka threw a big bash to celebrate the occasion. The actor explained, “We had to celebrate. She went through a pretty wild journey in the early part of her life, so we had to celebrate in style.” He added, “She’s one. She’s beautiful. It’s amazing. The best.”
Priyanka and Nick welcomed their daughter via surrogacy and it wasn’t until five months that the couple officially revealed that Malti spent more than 100 days in the hospital following her birth. While sharing his experience, Jowe shared, “I was probably more nervous to ask her dad than I was to ask her.” Joe married his wife, Sophie Turner in 2019. The singer added, “It just all mumbles up.” Joe continues, “You throw out there and hope that her response is good, and you look back on it, and you’re like, ‘What did I say?’ Luckily it went well.”
Meanwhile, in another Jonas Brothers, Kevin had some technical difficulties when it came to popping the question to his now-wife Danielle in 2009. Sharing his experience, Kevin said, “I couldn’t get the ring out of my pocket in my jacket.” He added, “Literally could not get it out of my jacket. It was really bad.”
