Jennifer Lopez celebrates her first Thanksgiving with her husband Ben Affleck and the songstress took to her social media to share a peek into their extravaganza. Taking to Instagram Lopez shared some of the highlights from her holiday with her husband Ben Affleck and their family.
The triple-threat entertainer dropped a series of photos taken during their festive feast that appeared to be held at Lopez’s plush home in The Hamptons. The edited montage video includes photos of members of her family, such as her two sisters Leslie and Lynda, and of course, husband Ben, all while her song The One (Version 2) can be heard playing.
Off the top of the montage video, Lopez can be seen in a selfie snap decked out in a brown floral dress that gave more than a hint of her cleavage. There appear to be several pictures of Lopez snuggling up with her older sister Leslie and younger sister Lynda. All while the photos move along and tell a story of family love, Lopez’s The One (Version 2) can be heard playing prominently in the background.
In the video, Jennifer sings, ‘You are everything and everything is you (Your girl) – You are everything and everything is you (I’ll always be your girl),’ which could reflect feelings for Affleck and other members of her family. ‘The one who makes you smile (Your girl) – The one who holds you down,’ she continues before the grand finale ends. ‘The one, the one, the one -I can be anything you need.’
Meanwhile, at one point, she slips in a video showing her sneaking into the frame and taking a bite out of a cookie, alongside a male friend or family member who’s cooking up a storm. In an adorable moment, Lopez snapped a photo of Affleck moments after her son, Maximilian, fell asleep on his lap during a drive. And in a return favour, Affleck would go on to shoot his wife during the drive as her child Emme got some shut-eye while on their mom’s lap.
Alongside the sweet collage video, the Marry Me actress penned, “This Is… Thanksgiving Holiday #ThisIsMeNow #PhotoDump #Family.” For the unversed, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot this past July and this is Lopez and Affleck’s first Thanksgiving together as a married couple. Moreover, Jennifer recently teased that her new album is on the way.
