Jennifer Lopez Reveals Ben Affleck’s Romantic Message Engraved On Her Engagement Ring

Jennifer Lopez revealed she's 'blessed' that she and Ben Affleck picked their romance up again in 2021 after a painful split in 2004.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck exchanged vows in July 2022 and the actress recently revealed the message that her husband had engraved on her engagement ring. While speaking with Apple Music One’s Zane Lowe, Lopez shared that Affleck began using the phrase after they rekindled their romance. She added, “That’s how he would sign his emails when we started talking again.” The engraved message is “Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere.”‘

Further in the interview, Lopez gets candid about her romance with Affleck. Lopez said that her romance with Affleck is ‘much more clearer’ than when they previously dated in the early 2000s. She shared, ‘Now, we know and there’s no questions. It’s me and you, all the way, ’til the end.’ Lopez added that her rekindled romance with Affleck influenced some of her work on her new album, This Is Me… Now, which includes a track named ‘Not. Going. Anywhere.’

Lopez said she’s ‘blessed’ that she and the actor picked their romance up again in 2021 after a painful split in 2004. Marry Me actress added, “It was the biggest heartbreak of my life and I honestly though I was gonna die. It sent me on a spiral for the next 18 years where I just couldn’t get it right. But now, 20 years later, it does have a happy ending.”

Lopez added, ‘You can get a second chance if you do the work and you don’t give up. As an artist, the only reason I’m here is to share what I know, what I’ve learned and what I go through.’ Affleck is father to three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 50 – daughters Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13, and son Samuel, 10. Lopez is mother to twins Emme and Maximilian, 14, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 54. All of the children were at the wedding.

Lopez said that amid the ‘separate paths’ she and the Argo star took after their 2004 breakup, they both did ‘beautiful things and we had these amazing children.’ She added, ‘Once got whole enough, complete enough, loved ourselves enough and could stand on our own two feet really completely, as the universe had it, we were bought into each other’s lives again. It was like a crack in the clouds and the sun came through.’
