Ed Sheeran Pays Heartfelt Tribute To Pal Jamal Edwards

Along with Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa also took to her social media to pay heartbroken tribute to Jamal Edwards.

Ed Sheeran shared a heartbreaking tribute to pal Jamal Edwards after his sudden death. The death of the entrepreneur and founder of SB: TV was recently confirmed and, stars were quick to pen emotional messages of condolence.

However, Jamal was credited for helping to launch the career of the Shivers singer who took to Instagram to pen, “I haven’t posted anything coz I can’t find the words, I can’t reply coz I don’t know what to say. Jamal is my brother. His light shone so brightly. He only used it to illuminate others and never asked for anything in return.”

Ed Sheeran continues in the caption, “A stars light shines for millions of years after they go, and his will continue to light up every dark moment, we are all witnessing his power. I would not be here without him, professionally and personally.” He concluded his tribute while penning, “There will never be anything close to what he is, but I’m so grateful to have existed within his orbit. My brother, come on.”

Elsewhere, Jessie J shared an emotional video of the pair laughing and joking to her Instagram Stories, which she simply captioned, “I’m heartbroken.” Che Wolton Grant, who is better known by his stage name AJ Tracey, also took to Twitter to share his grief. The rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer commented: “RIP Jamal Edwards, West London legend status.”

Dua Lipa also took to her Instagram to say, “Heartbroken to hear this news. RIP Jamal. My thoughts are with all his friends and family and the many people’s lives he has touched and brought together. Gone way too soon.” Musician, singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer Elliot Gleave, better known by his stage name Example, said, “Can’t believe you’re gone. 31 years old. Can’t find the words right now.”
