As Daniel Craig returns as James Bond in the upcoming movie No Time To Die, the British superspy will be essaying the role of a father in the movie. A source close to the development said that in the new movie, Bond will be saving the world from a global pandemic, giving the film an interesting twist.

A report confirms that Bond will be a father to a daughter with love interest Dr. Madeleine Swann, portrayed by French actress Lea Seydoux. The little girl is named Mathilde.

The news started to make rounds on the internet when last week the call sheets of the film, 25th of the official series, went up for sale on the online auction site eBay. The sheets describe a sequence which was filmed last September in southern Italy. It featured Seydoux with Lashana Lynch’s Nomi, who will become the first black female agent, and the girl Mathilde, essayed by Lisa-Dorah Sonne, a five-year-old child actor.

The schedule is called, “Scene #235”. The details in the schedule read, “Nomi pilots Madeleine and Mathilde to safety with the island in the background.”

A source said, “Yes, it’s true. Bond is a dad. Daniel wanted to make this Bond film the most surprising and entertaining yet.”

The source also added that Daniel is older and his Bond is maturing and looking at life through a prism of fatherhood but there is a lot more to that.

Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge has collaborated on the script of No Time To Die. She rewrote the script after filmmaker Danny Boyle opted out and Cary Joji Fukunaga took over the directorial duties.

The source said that Bond has previously charmed his way into the hearts of hundreds of beautiful women with seemingly no consequences. It further added that making him a father will open up a whole new world in terms of drama and story development.

However, the fans have to wait to little a bit more than expected as No Time To Die was slated to release in April 2020, but the release date of the film has been pushed further pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic.
