Chris Pratt Shares Behind-The-Scenes Glimpse From The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special

The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special starring Chris Pratt is now streaming on Disney Plus.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special tv series recently hit Disney+ and Chris Pratt made sure to celebrate the occasion. The actor took to his Instagram and shared a series of behind-the-scenes clips and photos from the set of The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. Pratt, who plays the role of Peter Quill aka Star-Lord, took a 360 look at the decorated set while in costume.

He also was seen in a tent, panning on collaborators on the special including, Dave Bautista and Bacon. The Guardians Of The Galaxy leading man also shared a shot of Bacon posing with three costumed cast members and a picture of Pom Klementieff in a green holiday-themed ensemble. Alongside the bts photos, Chris penned in the caption, ‘Just a few sneak peeks behind the scenes filming our Holiday Special with none other than Legendary Hero Kevin Bacon.’

He added that the special was ‘now streaming on @disneyplus.’ Meanwhile, the plot of the holiday special follows Mantis and Drax as they journey to Earth to kidnap Bacon as a holiday gift for Quill, played by Chris Pratt, an ardent fan of the Bacon film Footloose. Bacon opened up Friday to Marvel.com about his surreal reaction to seeing the first Guardians of the Galaxy film when it hit theatres in August of 2014.

“I went to Guardians opening weekend in the afternoon alone and had no idea what was coming,” Bacon told the outlet. ‘If you can imagine sitting there and hearing Peter start to talk about you when you’re already deeply entrenched in this movie and not only that, it’s one thing if it was a regular romantic comedy and somebody had made a passing reference, but when it’s an actual another universe, it’s a pretty out-of-body experience.’

Bacon said he told his wife Kyra Sedgwick, 57, of the movie: ‘I said, “There’s a little surprise in it, but I’m not going to tell you what it is.” ‘It’s just one of those times when you go, boy, my life is pretty strange sometimes.’ Meanwhile, director James Gunn told Marvel that Bacon is his ‘favorite MCU character’ and that he would ‘be really disappointed’ if Bacon wasn’t cast as an Avenger in the future.
