Pop icon Britney Spears has set the internet abuzz with excitement as she teased a second tell-all book just weeks before her highly anticipated memoir, “The Woman in Me,” hits shelves later this month.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Spears shared a video montage from her latest tropical getaway with the caption, “Riding ‘n writing !!! All I’m doing at the moment … volume 2 coming after 1 !!! #TheWomanInMe.” The clip, set to the upbeat song “Fall in Love” by Icona Pop, showcases Spears aboard a private jet with five male friends, capturing the essence of her carefree moments. During the flight, she pointed her camera towards the window to reveal breathtaking crystal blue waters below and also shared footage of herself enjoying horseback riding.
The Grammy-winning artist, now 41, has been globe-trotting following her split from estranged husband Sam Asghari. While fans eagerly await the release of “The Woman in Me,” reports suggest that the memoir will contain “bombshells” about Spears’ life, promising an unfiltered account of her experiences, both positive and negative.
A source revealed to Page Six in September, “It’s Britney telling her story, without handlers, totally unfiltered — the good, the bad, and the ugly.” The insider also noted that the process has been emotionally intense for Spears, saying, “You read some of her family history in the book, and you think, ‘Oh my God, that poor girl.’ She details her family history, from her grandparents to her parents to why she is the way she is.”
Spears herself had previously hinted at the memoir on Instagram in July, stating, “I worked my ass off for this book, I had a lot of therapy to get this book done, so you guys better like it. And if you don’t like it, that’s fine too.” “The Woman in Me” is set to hit bookshelves on October 24.
