Britney Spears Dances On Rihanna’s Song After Recording Secret Duet With Elton John

Britney Spears shows her moves on Rihanna's song after secretly recording a duet of the 1971 classic Tiny Dancer with legendary pop star Elton John.

Britney Spears shared a video of her dancing by herself inside her new Calabasas mansion. The newlywed singer posted a 30-second video of herself showing off her moves to pop star Rihanna’s 2016 song Love on the Brain. Alongside the dancing video, the grammy winner singer added three rose emojis in her caption, indicating she’s still dreaming up the mysterious ‘Project Rose.’

Just a few days before, it was reported that Britney secretly recorded a duet of the 1971 classic Tiny Dancer with legendary pop star Elton John in Beverly Hills last week. However, both singers are yet to officially confirm the news. Previously, Britney has shared two videos of herself singing a cappella, on July 15 and on December 22, but she hasn’t released a full-blown record since her ninth studio album Glory back in 2016.

On July 15, Spears shared a rendition of her 1998 debut single “Baby One More Time” in a dark mirror video of herself performing acoustically during a break from doing laundry. Britney Spears released Baby One More Time in 1998 and became a global icon. Moreover, Baby One More Time was nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the Grammy Awards, and it topped the charts in at least 22 countries. However, the singer recently shared the original version that she actually wanted to sing.

Meanwhile, Britney Spears will next portray a mystery role in The Weeknd’s six-episode upcoming drama The Idol. After scribbling out part of the song’s lyrics, Britney stated why she wanted a different take on the tune and claimed she was furious that her sister Jamie Lynn Spears had sung one of her songs at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards. “Well I have asked for what I wanted for 14 years a different version of ‘Baby’ but have the producers actually work for me and put it together a start,” Britney continued in her caption.

The singer added, “But as the TEAM said NO and serves me with 4 girls, my sister included, doing a 5-minute version of 4 remixed songs to a T not even having to give effort or dance just shot it beautifully and the sound was NEW !!! They ruined it for me, embarrassed me and made me feel like absolutely nothing!!!” When Britney’s album’s lead single from the same year, a huge hit song, was released, she was just 17 years old.
