Recently, Eilish opened up in detail about their current relationship status. During a fan Q&A session on her Instagram Story, the singer was asked about her current dating status. She responded with a “NO SIRRRRR,” adding smiley emojis. As she engaged with fans’ questions, Billie Eilish also touched upon Jesse Rutherford, describing their relationship as “very very good friends only,” and expressing, “My homie forever.”
Their separation rumours came when Billie appeared at this year’s Met Gala in May without her partner by her side. Then the reports confirmed that the couple had parted ways after dating for less than a year and stated “amicably and remain good friends.”
Speculation about their romantic involvement began in October 2022, when a fan posted a TikTok video showing them holding hands while exiting a haunted maze in Los Angeles.
They solidified their relationship on Instagram on November 1, playfully acknowledging their ten-year age difference. Although the post has been edited since, Billie uploaded a Halloween snapshot showing her dressed as a baby alongside Jesse, who was garbed as a senior citizen.
