It has been confirmed that Ben Affleck has relocated from his joint residence with his spouse, Jennifer Lopez. PEOPLE has reported that the 51-year-old actor has packed up his possessions and moved out of the Los Angeles estate he and the 54-year-old musician purchased in 2023. A source shared with the magazine on Friday, June 28, mentioned that Ben had cleared out the entire house before Jennifer came back from her individual journey across Europe.
“Ben remains residing in the Brentwood apartment. He’s been there for roughly two months,” another individual informed the news source. “He appears to be doing well. He’s been present at his workplace daily, appearing to be dedicated to his job. Additionally, he’s been spending quality time with his children.” Ben is a parent to Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel Affleck with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Meanwhile, J. Lo has custody of her twins, Emme and Max, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Earlier this month, it came to light that Jennifer and Ben decided to sell their Los Angeles home because of whispers about their relationship ending. A few weeks later, after they hadn’t been seen in public together for a while, various news sources mentioned that the couple, who reignited their romance in the middle of 2021 and tied the knot in July 2023, were facing problems in their marriage.
Moreover, the “On the Floor” star sidestepped inquiries regarding her relationship with Ben at the film’s debut on Netflix in May. When confronted about her personal life with the Argo star, Jennifer nonchalantly responded, “You know better than that.” A few weeks after, the “Jenny From the Block” star put her 2024 tour on hold, stating in her OnTheJLo newsletter that it was “absolutely necessary.”
Even though breakup rumors keep circulating, Jennifer and Ben have frequently been seen together in public over the last few weeks. From everyday tasks to family gatherings, it appears the couple has managed to put rumors of a split to rest, but worries resurfaced when Ben referred to Jennifer’s fame as “f**king bananas” in an interview with Kevin Hart on Peacock not too long ago.
However, in his Hart to Heart interview, the Academy Award recipient talked about the profound effect Jennifer has on her followers, mentioning that she “signifies something significant to many.”
Jennifer and Ben have not publicly commented on the breakup speculation.
