Amidst Divorce Drama, Britney Spears Now Get Slammed By PETA, Here’s Why

Singer Britney Spears has recently been in the headlines for her divorce from Sam Asghari. And amidst all the chaos the singer recently bought a new puppy as she shared the news on her social media. However, Britney was brutally criticized by the animal rights organization, PETA which stated that the Toxic singer should’ve adopted a dog from the shelter rather than buying one.

PETA Slams Britney Spears For Buying A Puppy

Recently singer Britney Spears shared a video on her Instagram which featured her new bough puppy. Sharing the video the Toxic singer wrote, “Introducing Snow … the new edition to the family … it’s her world and we just live in it!!!”.

Reacting to the news, a spokesperson from PETA criticized the singer in a conversation with TMZ. The spokesperson stated that puppy mills cheer and animal shelters watch the homeless animal crisis get even worse when influential people buy puppies.

And that Britney Spears new post has sentenced countless deserving dogs in shelters to more days without love, a comfy bed to curl up on or a chance at real life. The organization added that singer could have become a force for good and adopted but she chose to be toxic and animals will pay with their lives.

Prior to divorce both Britney Spears and Sam Asghari had a total of 5 dogs. While as per the reports the couple decided to divide the custody as Britney Spears will keep the 4 dogs while Sam Asghari will take the custody of his Doberman named Porsha which he earlier bought to protect Spears.
