Here’s About Avengers: Endgame Directors Reunion With Chris Evans For Netflix’s Biggest Movie Ever

Until now, Netflix has produced the most financially ambitious feature film. Now AGBO's Joe & Anthony Russo directing their first blockbuster with Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans for The Gray Man.

Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo are expected to collaborate for Netflix ‘s biggest ever movie with star Chris Evans again.

Once again, the titans will work together – alongside Endgame authors Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who will give a polish to Joe’s script – on The Gray Man, which will co-star Ryan Gosling and have the biggest ever budget for the streamer, of over $200 million.

According to Deadline, the goal is to create a James Bond-level scale series, the film that focuses on a freelance assassin and former CIA agent named Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka The Gray Man.

Primarily focused on the 2009 Mark Greaney novel now available from Amazon, the plot follows Gentry as Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, hunts him around the globe.

The hope is that it will become a franchise, and it’s been secretly established for years by the Russos. Their company AGBO will produce, with filming expected to commence in January.

Talking about the same Anthony said, “The movie is a real mano a mano between those two great actors, who represent two different versions of the CIA, in what it can be, and what it can do.”

“For those who were fans of Captain America: Winter Soldier, this is us moving into that territory in more of a real world setting. That’s what this movie really means for us,” he added.

While Joe said, “The intention is for it to be competitive with any theatrical and the ability to do with with Gosling and Evans is a dream for us. The idea is to create a franchise and build out a whole universe, with Ryan at the center of it.”

Adding, “We have all committed to the first movie and that’s got to be great to get us to the second movie. These are master assassins and Gosling’s characters gets burned by the CIA and Evans’ character has to hunt him down.”

“We have a great working relationship with Netflix, and we go back almost 20 years with Scott Stuber. We formed AGBO to be an agnostic storytelling company, where we figure out the best platform. We think Netflix is the perfect place for this film,” he concluded.

Well, given that the Russo-produced and penned “Extraction” starring Chris Hemsworth has now become the biggest original movie ever made by Netflix, we are expecting big things from The Gray Man.

Meanwhile, Lily James and Chris Evans are the centers of attraction after being spotted together over the weekend in London.
