Yodha VS Bastar Box Office Collection Day 5: Films ‘Struggles’ To Maintain Pace

On March 15th, two highly anticipated Bollywood movies, “Yodha” and “Bastar”, were released. “Yodha”, an action-thriller starring Sidharth Malhotra, received positive reviews and had a decent opening at the box office. Conversely, “Bastar: The Naxal Story”, a crime-drama featuring Adah Sharma, didn’t fare well with the audience, receiving poor reviews and a lackluster response in cinemas. Despite experiencing slight growth over the weekend, both films witnessed a significant decline and slow progress on Monday and Tuesday.

Yodha Box Office Collection Day 5

As per Sacnilk.com, Sidharth Malhotra starrer Bollywood action-thriller, “Yodha” made approx. ₹ 4.1 Cr on its opening day (first day) at the box office. The action-thriller witnessed huge growth over the weekend earning ₹ 5.75 Cr on Saturday and approx. ₹ 6.7 Cr on Sunday.

However, after a successful weekend, the film witnessed a massive drop on Monday. Yodha earned ₹ 2.15 Cr on Monday. Keeping steady the film earned around ₹ 2.30 Cr on Tuesday. The action-thriller now stands at a domestic total of ₹ 21.30 Cr.

Bastar Box Office Collection Day 5

According to Sacnilk.com, the crime-drama movie “Bastar: The Naxal Story” featuring Adah Sharma had a lackluster opening at the box office, raking in just ₹0.50 Cr (50 Lakhs) on its opening day. Over the first weekend, the film experienced modest growth, collecting ₹0.75 Cr (75 Lakhs) on Saturday and approximately ₹0.81 Cr (81 Lakhs) on Sunday.

However, following this weekend surge, the movie suffered a significant decline on Monday, earning a mere ₹0.24 Cr (24 Lakhs). The crime drama dipped even further on Tuesday earning only ₹ 0.21 Cr (21 Lakhs). Bastar now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 2.46 Cr.

Both “Yodha” and “Bastar” have been facing tough competition with Ajay Devgn starrer “Shaitaan”.
