Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah landed into trouble when Salman Khan backed out as the lead actor. Several names came up for his replacement but it is now said that Hrithik Roshan might replace him and will star opposite Alia Bhatt.
A leading daily quoted “Hrithik met Bhansali lately and if it is what we think it is about, soon a confirmation will be on its way and we just might see Hrithik and Alia Bhatt romancing on-screen. Another first!”
Salman Khan quit Inshallah after his creative differences with SLB. “Salman wanted to change the fabric of the film. While he was happy with the first hour of the story, he had requested Bhansali to rework the rest of the script, especially the climax. Even as the production team set up the first day’s shoot, the two couldn’t agree on the narrative. Bhansali wanted it to be a love story, and Salman could only envision it as a typical Eid potboiler, in which romance is one of the elements. Bhansali respects his actors, and their suggestions are welcome, but not if they aim to alter the narrative. Hence, he took the decision to shelve the film.”
Reports also suggested that Shah Rukh Khan is being approached for Inshallah. But then, let’s wait for the confirmation.
