When Yash Chopra Said To Shah Rukh Khan, ‘Bahut Ho Gaya’

In A Throwback Interview From 2012, Viewers Can Witness The 'Jawan' Actor Engaging In A Conversation With The Legendary Filmmaker Yash Chopra.

Shah Rukh Khan and Yash Chopra have given some of the best films in Indian cinema, cherished by countless fans. Yash Chopra played a significant role in boosting SRK’s film career. Unfortunately, the renowned filmmaker lost his life due to illness.

In an old interview shared by an SRK fan page on Instagram from 2012, the ‘Jawan’ actor can be seen interviewing Yash Chopra. He asked the director when he is going to cast him in his next film. To this, Yash said, ‘Shahrukh, maine aaj tak life calculator ke samne beath kar dekhi hai, calculation karke nahi. Life mein is hawa ke jhoke se, dariya ke pani se behta raha. Maine life ko apne dil se dekha hai. Mera dil kuch karne ko kehta hai, phir mein logo ki parwah nahi karta. Mera dil kehta hai, bahut ho gaya.'”

The director further revealed that ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ would be his last directorial movie. Shah Rukh and Yash Chopra were known as a hit Jodi and have given cult films like ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan,’ ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,’ ‘Dil To Pagal Hai,’ ‘Darr,’ and many more.

Yash Chopra was 80 years old when he passed away due to Dengue fever in 2012.

Speaking of Shah Rukh Khan, his latest film ‘Jawan’ is breaking all box office records and gaining appreciation from all corners. The movie has crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark at the worldwide box office. This is the second movie of SRK to cross the Rs 500 crore mark; ‘Pathaan’ was his highest-grossing film before this.

Apart from this, Shah Rukh Khan’s next film, ‘Dunki,’ is slated to release in December this year. This will be his third film in the same year, and fans are eagerly waiting for the movie to hit theaters.
