There is no doubt that Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor are amongst the Bollywood’s favorite onscreen jodis. This pair which was last seen in “ABCD 2” will again be sharing the screen space for Remo D’Souza’s upcoming venture “Street Dancer 3D”. In “ABCD 2”, Varun and Shraddha’s sizzling chemistry and dance moves won over the hearts of the audiences, and surely their fans will be eager to witness the same again.
Apart from being B-Town celebs, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor are also childhood friends. And in a recent interview during the promotions of “Street Dancer 3D” both the actors made a shocking revelation. They both confessed that they had a crush on each other when they were little, but never did anything about it.
Varun further revealed that their childhood story is a bit filmy because while initially, there was an inter-school rivalry but deep down there was a mutual fondness that he and Shraddha shared amidst this cold war. Further, Humpty Sharma added that despite being fond of each other, they both never acted on it. When Varun was asked about why he was not able to express his feelings for Shraddha, he said, “At that age boys don’t like girls and since we all were too young, I didn’t understand it.”
Later on even Shraddha was questioned if she would have said yes to Varun, if he would have asked her on a date, on which the actress said that she only liked Varun and at that age, she could not see beyond him.
Further, Varun and Shraddha also added that even if they never confessed about their feelings, the fondness they kindled for each other helped them become great friends later on.
Talking about “Street Dancer 3D”, the Remo D’Souza directed will showcase the dance rivalry between India-Pakistan. The film is all set to release on 24 January and will lock its horns with Kangana Ranaut’s “Panga” at the Box Office.
