In 2024, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone claimed the title of the highest-paid actress, surpassing Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Interestingly, the list notably has no South Indian actresses.
According to Forbes, in collaboration with IMDb, Deepika Padukone, who is expecting a child, topped the list of highest-paid actresses in India for 2024. She commands an alleged fee ranging from Rs 15 crores to Rs 30 crores per movie.
On the 2nd spot is Kangana Ranaut, who reportedly charges between Rs 15 crores to Rs 27 crores per film.
On the 3rd spot is Priyanka Chopra Jonas, with reported earnings ranging from Rs 15 crores to Rs 25 crores per movie.
Katrina Kaif, claimed the fourth position, charging between Rs 15 crores to Rs 25 crores per film.
Alia Bhatt lands on the 5th spot, reportedly charging Rs 10 to 20 crores per movie.
Others on the list include Kareena Kapoor Khan charging Rs 8-18 crores, Shraddha Kapoor charging Rs 7-15 crores, and Vidya Balan charging Rs 8-14 crores per film. The list concludes with Anushka Sharma, who charges Rs 8-12 crores per film, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, charging Rs 10 crores per film.
