These Bollywood celebs have broken the stereotypes and now are happy single parents.
Sakshi Tanwar
Popular television actress Saskhi Tanwar, who got into the acting field with Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’, is now experiencing her motherhood without getting a partner. Sakshi Tanwar has been a single mother for the last 5 years. She adopted a baby girl when she was 45 and named her ‘Dityaa’. She said that it was the same experience as any other parents get.
Tusshar kapoor
Breaking all the stereotypes in society, Tusshar Kapoor made a decision to be a single parent without marrying through surrogacy. He became a father in 2016 through surrogacy. His son Laksshya is now 7 years old. Tusshar is the first ever actor who took this decision very firmly. He is doing quite great at raising his child as a single parent. He didn’t want to wait for a child till marriage and that’s why he chose this way.
Raveena Tandon
Raveena Tandon, the evergreen beauty of Bollywood, accepted single parenting at the age of 21. Raveena Tandon legally adopted 2 daughters of her cousin’s sister after she passed away. She became the mother of two because she felt that those two daughters were not getting the life they deserved. She solely handled the responsibilities of her two daughters, Chhaya and Pooja, at a very young age when her career was taking shape. Now they are both married. And Raveena is also married, she has two biological children, Rasha and Ranbir Thadani.
Ekta kapoor
Ekta Kapoor, a big name in Bollywood as well as the TV industry, took the decision to be a single parent because she wasn’t sure whether she would ever marry anyone. She felt like she wanted to be a mother but she never wanted to get married for the sake of this thing. She stored her eggs when she was 36 and around 41 she decided to go ahead with the decision of surrogacy. Her brother Tusshar Kapoor did the same thing, which gave her a little push. In 2019, she welcomed her son Ravie.
Sushmita sen
Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen became a mother of a daughter at the age of 24. Sushmita felt that she was ready to be a mother and she felt that she was making the right decision. She adopted Renne in 2000 and later in 2010 she welcomed her another adopted daughter, Alisah. Right now, she is in a relationship with Rohman Shawl, but she has never married to anyone, and has raised her daughters in very well manner. She called it a profound decision of her life.
