Sudipto Sen’s directorial “The Kerala Story” was released back on 5th May 2023. Starring Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, and others the film gained a lot of attention due to its storyline which focuses on the forced & radicalization of women in Kerala. And after a long wait, the film is now all set to make its debut on the OTT platform.

Sudipto Sen’s Bollywood drama, The Kerala Story will be released on the OTT platform, ZEE5 on 16th February. Sharing the news, actress Adah Sharma took to her Instagram and wrote, “FINALLY !!!!! SURPRISE !!The most anticipated film is dropping soon on ZEE5!#TheKeralaStory premieres on 16th February, only on #ZEE5.”
The Kerala Story Box Office Collection
On its first day, the Kerala Story earned Rs 8 crore. The concluded its run at the box office with a lifetime worldwide box office collection of approx. Rs 300cr.
About “The Kerala Story”
Directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the drama film, “The Kerala Story” stars Yogita Bihani, Adah Sharma, Siddhi Idnani, and Sonia Balani in the lead roles. The film was released on 5th May.
The movie’s storyline focuses on the forced & radicalization of women in Kerala. The movie reportedly claims that almost 32,000 women in the state were allegedly forced to convert to Islam while many were taken to “ISIS”.
