Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has broken the no kissing policy of her two decades with her boyfriend Vijay Varma in Lust Stories 2. Their intimate scenes have created havoc on social media and raised many eyebrows. This is the first time both of them are sharing screen space together in this series, where they also fall in love with each other on set. In the series, it showed the two stars engaging in some passionate and daring scenes. But after all this, the actress is now feeling awkward watching s*x scenes with her family.
Lust Stories 2 is the sequel to 2018’s Emmy-nominated anthology. Also stars Kajol, Neena Gupta, Mrunal Thakur, Amruta Subhash, and Angad Bedi. Released on June 29, the film was directed by Sujoy Ghosh. R. Balki, Amit Ravindernath Sharma, and Konkona Sen Sharma.
In a conversation with News 18, Tamannaah Bhatia talks about the awkward situation of watching Lust Stories 2 with her family. She said she was that audience member who would get awkward sitting with her family and watching something like that. She would start looking around; she would fidget or be uncomfortable, and for a large part of her career, she didn’t show any intimacy in her movies or anything that she showcased.
The 33-year-old actress further added that for her, it was a journey from being an actor who caters to a mass audience to now doing stuff that, growing up, was sigma. She just doesn’t want that to happen to the audience now because they don’t need it anymore. That illusion has broken for her, so she is enjoying exploring herself as an artist and doing varied characters and work.
