Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy garnering praise for his latest release Jawan. The film has brought a tsunami at the box office. Atlee’s directorial action thriller film earned a whopping Rs 129 crore worldwide on its opening day. With these whopping numbers, Jawan created history by recording the biggest opening day worldwide collection in the history of Hindi cinema. Popular Indian filmmaker SS Rajamouli has now reacted to the phenomenal box office success of Shah Rukh Khan’s film.
SS Rajamouli, the man behind Baahubali and RRR, praised SRK and Atlee in his tweet. He wrote, “This is the reason why @IamSRK is the Baadshah of the box office… What an earth-shattering opening…Congratulations @Atlee_dir for continuing the success streak in the north too, and congrats to the team of #Jawan for the stupendous success…:)”
To this, Shah Rukh Khan replied, “Thank u so much sir. We are all learning from your creative inputs for cinema. Please see it as and when u can. Then call me to tell me if I can be a mass hero also. Ha ha. Love and regards sir.”
Even Anand Mahindra is in awe of Shah Rukh Khan. In a wholesome tweet, he called SRK a ‘natural resource’. He said, “All countries guard their natural mineral resources and mine them and usually export them to earn forex. Maybe it’s time to declare @iamsrk a Natural Resource…”
SRK replied, “Thank u so much. I keep trying in my small humble way to make our country proud in terms of making cinema. And hope as a ‘natural resource’ I am not limited!!! Big hug sir.”
Jawan hit the theatres on 7 September. It features Shah Rukh Khan along with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone and Sanya Malhotra.
