Shaitaan Trailer: Ajay Devgn-R. Madhavan Starrer Features “Black Magic”

Directed by Vikas Bahl, Shaitaan is an upcoming Bollywood horror thriller film starring Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn alongside South actress Jyotika, while actor R. Madhavan will be seen playing the lead antagonist in the film. The much-awaited trailer of the film was released today on 22 February 2024. Shaitaan is the official Hindi remake of Vash, a Gujarati horror thriller directed by Krishnadev Yagnik.

The trailer begins with a woman seeking assistance from the police. It then introduces R. Madhavan’s character, who requests Ajay for shelter to charge his phone and contact his daughter. However, tensions arise when Jyotika requests Ajay to ask Madhavan to leave, to which Madhavan refuses.

It later turns out that Madhavan is a man who practices black magic and witchcraft and now has Ajay and Jyotika’s daughter under his control. While Ajay and Jyotika try to force Madhavan out of their house their daughter vehemently refuses and tries to hurt herself and others in the process. The story of the film features how the father and mother duo goes beyond every limit to protect their daughter.

Reacting to the trailer, many netizens shared their reactions and expressed their excitement for the film. A user wrote, “What a trailer yar, dakh k maza a gaya”, another user commented, “Freakin unbelievable concept madness r madhavan and Ajay together gonna b epic the debutant girl looks superb confident with her big Bollywood debut”.
