Shahid Kapoor spent time with his family. The star, who urged fans to stay safe in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, headed with his family to Beas in Punjab.
Shahid Kapoor is known for being an ardent follower of Radha Soami Satsang Beas. The actor in fact also owns a house in the premises of Dera. Dera was shut down due to restrictions on places of worship that draw large crowds as a precautionary measure to combat the coronavirus.
Earlier this week, the Dera Beas offered all of its Satsang centers throughout the state to the Punjab Health Minister to turn them into isolation wards.
He had returned from Chandigarh before Shahid Kapoor left Mumbai for Beas after his
film Jersey came to a halt due to fear of coronavirus. On March 14, the unit returned to Mumbai as the actor announced on Twitter that the safety of the cast and crew was of utmost importance.
Recently, the actor was involved in the controversy over his Mumbai gymnasium being specially opened for him and his wife Mira Rajput in the midst of the state lockdown and government orders to shut down all gyms in Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and Nagpur.
