During the press meet, SRK said, “She felt that she was doing a small role out of friendship. But me and Atlee fooled her and shot a full-length film with her. She didn’t even realize. When she saw the film, she was like, ‘Oh! I am one of the main characters!’ So she is most awkward sitting here. But thank you, Deepika, from the bottom of my heart for being a part of this film.”

He then continued saying, “I have always been a fan of cinema from the South. Even when I don’t understand the language at times, I try to watch it. Now fortunately you can hear it dubbed and can also read the subtitles. To come here and create this cinema for the whole of the country, for me more than happiness, it is the satisfaction of having worked in the Indian film industry for 32 years. Thank you so much Atlee sir. Thank you Vijay Sir. Thank you everyone who has been a part of this film and thank you Deepika for not catching on that we had made you shoot the whole film and you thought you had a small role in the film.”
