11th of Dec marked the 100th birth anniversary of legendary actor Dilip Kumar. To mark the occassion, Film Heritage Foundation hosted “Dilip Kumar – Hero of Heroes”. Celebrities like Saira Banu, Waheeda Rahman, Divya Dutta, Farida Jalal and Prem Chopra attended the event at a PVR in Mumbai. During the event, Saira Banu was seen lovingly touching Dilip Kumar’s poster in his memory.

Dilip Kumar was born on 11 December 1922. He dominated the Indian cinema from late 1940s throughout 1960s. He was also credited for pioneering method acting in cinema. Dilip Kumar married Saira Banu in 1966. He died on 7 July 2021at the age of 98.
