Rajkumar Rao is ready to appear in front of the audience in a different role in an interesting movie. We last saw him as Panna Tipu in “Guns and Gulaabs” and now he will play the character of Srikanth Bolla. Yes, his upcoming movie is a biopic based on the life of industrialist Srikanth Bolla and was named as Sri earlier. But now the makers have renamed the title of the movie and announced the release date through social media.
The movie has been named as “Srikanth- Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholane”. Produced by T-Series , this movie will be released in theatres on the very auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya (Hindu Festival), May 10. Monica, O My Darling actor shared a post through his social media handle, he captioned it, “A remarkable true story that will open your eyes! #Srikanth, earlier titled SRI, releasing on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, 10th May 2024.”
Srikanth Bolla is the whole and sole of Bollant Industries which ventures into biodegradable and disposal packaging products. Now you may think there are many industrialists like Tata, Ambani, Adani, then why is T-series producing Sriknath Bolla’s biopic? Srikanth was born visually challenged and despite being disabled, he gave rise to an industry, Bollant Industries. He was denied admission in IIT but eventually he ended up pursuing his education at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge. His life story is really riveting, and it would be electrifying to watch his journey moving on a screen. Rajkumar Rao will definitely attempt to give sole justice to Srikanth’s story through his adeptness at acting.
Rajkumar Rao will be next seen in “Stree” 2 and “Mr & Mrs Mahi”. Both the films are under production. Mr & Mrs Mahi is directed by Sharan Sharma and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen alongside Rajkumar Rao.
