Now the veteran actor reacted days after a section of people criticised him on social media for touching Yogi Adityanath’s feet. On Monday night, Rajinikanth arrived in Chennai after several days of travel. He engaged in a brief interaction with media person outside the airport. When asked about his response to the controversy surrounding his act of touching the feet of UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Rajinikanth stated that he performed the gesture as a mark of respect. As reported by the news agency ANI, he qouted, “It is my habit to touch the feet of Yogis or Sanyasis and take their blessings, even if they are younger than me. I have done that only.”
He also thanked his fans for showing immense love and making his recently released film ‘Jailer’ a grand success.
