Priyanka Chopra has arrived in India after three years. She landed in Mumbai on 1st November following her Diwali celebration in LA. She has been living in her Los Angeles home for years with her husband Nick Jonas. As she returned to Mumbai there is buzz that the actress is here to meet Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Vishal Bhardwaj for a possible collaboration.
Media reports suggest that the aforementioned filmmakers were in discussion with the actress for a long time now. And they are likely to meet now to bring the possible project to the table. During this trip, Priyanka Chopra will meet filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Vishal Bhardwaj.
PC has previously worked with SLB on Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani. Both films were headlined by Deepika Padukone and her actor husband Ranveer Singh. In Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela Chopra appeared in a special song sung by Bhoomi Trivedi. She played the lead role of Kashi Bai in the 2015 film Bajirao Mastani.
Previously, Priyanka Chopra and Vishal Bhardwaj collaborated on films like 7 Khoon Maaf and Kaminey. The 2011 film 7 Khoon Maaf also starred Neil Nitin Mukesh and the late actor Irrfan Khan. Shahid Kapoor played a lead alongside his Teri Meri Kahani co-star in Kaminey.
During this trip to India, Priyanka aims to finish as many projects as possible and complete some brand commitments. She also has shoot of Zoya Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara lined up. In this road trip film, she will feature alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. On the work front, she has multiple projects in the pipeline including Ending Things with Anthony Mackie and It’s All Coming Back To Me with Celine Dion. She will also feature with Richard Madden in Russo Brothers’ Prime Video series Citadel.
