This weekend has witnessed a big clash at the Indian box office. Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 were released in theatres worldwide on 11 August. Both the films have stellar star cast, stories that are deeply rooted in Indian culture, and the backing of success of their first parts. OMG 2 IMDb Rating
OMG 2 is a satirical comedy-drama film revolving around the subject of sex education. It features Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam. The film is currently rated 8.2 out of 10 on IMDb. It seems that the audience is liking the film as much as they liked the first part. OMG: Oh My God was released in 2012 and has an impressive rating of 8.1 on IMDb.
OMG 2 has definitely defeated Gadar 2 in terms of IMDb rating. On Day 1 of the release, Gadar 2 was rated 7.2. However, it has now dropped to 6.7/10.
Meanwhile, in terms of box office collection, it is Sunny Deol who is leading the race. Gadar 2 earned an estimate of Rs 40 crore nett on the opening day while OMG 2 earned just 9.5 crore.
