Speaking to ANI, Girish stated, “We were a team of 10 people… We woke up to the sound of a massive explosion at 6:30 a.m. The hotel’s siren was blaring. The hotel staff instructed us to head to the basement, which had bunkers. We sought shelter inside the bunker but could still hear the terrifying sounds of missiles and explosions. Later, we came out into the lobby and witnessed rockets in the air. It was a heart-wrenching scene…”

He continued, “I’m grateful to the organizers; it’s thanks to their bravery that we managed to escape from there… While en route to the airport, we saw burnt vehicles, road craters, and a significant police presence. All 10 of us returned home safely.”
