B-town celebs are stepping forward to extend their support by donating to several relief funds in the midst of the global pandemic. Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty has donated Rs 51 lakh to Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) for the daily wage earners in the entertainment industry. Apart from that, the ace director has also extended his support to the families for the paparazzi photographers by directly sending out payments to their respective bank accounts. And now the Golmaal director has pledged to help the on-duty coronavirus warriors that are the police officials.

Rohit Shetty has facilitated eight hotels for the officers of the Mumbai Police, who are working in the midst of the lockdown. The policemen will be provided with breakfast and dinner, and will also be allowed to rest and take shower in these hotels.

Rohit Shetty has also been urging people to stay at home and practice social distancing in the midst of the lockdown due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.

On the work front, Rohit Shetty has Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi in his kitty. The film was slated to release on 24th March but got postponed due to the nationwide lockdown.
