After the critical acclaims and massive huge box office commercial success of Simmba and Sooryavanshi, this one is indeed going to be very special since it will officially mark the third time hat trick collaboration where director actor duo of Rohit and Ranveer return with Cirkus.

It’s now public knowledge that Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty are coming together once again after Simmba and Sooryavanshi, with a comedy genre film, which has been titled “Cirkus” which also has actress Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde alongside Ranveer playing the female leads in the movie. 

The film is going to be bankrolled and produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series banner. This is going to be Rohit and Ranveer’s third successful film collaboration as an actor and director after Simmba and Sooryavanshi and as it is said, third time’s the lucky charm maybe this will work in their film’s favour as well.

Filmmaker and director Rohit Shetty who is known for giving us masterpiece hit films in form of Golmaal series (2006 – present), Singham (2011), Chennai Express (2013), Dilwale (2016), Simmba (2019), Sooryavanshi (2021) is set and ready to create the magical spell with his upcoming film which is titled Cirkus for which he is collaborating for the third time with iconic Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh who has proved his mettle as a versatile performer with film like Ram Leela (2013), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), Bajirao Mastani (2016), Padmaavat (2018) and Simmba (2019).

This upcoming film Cirkus has become one of the most eagerly anticipated films since the time it has been announced in the media officially by the producers and makers. The film is going to be presented by Bhushan Kumar in association with Reliance Entertainment.

Most interesting factor with this film, is the fact that it is not a remake of any Hollywood film but rather a completely different take on the classic play “Comedy Of Errors”. Cirkus is going to be loosely inspired and based on the play.

It’s already grabbing the attention and headlines because of the fact that the film’s star cast has a blend of stalwart actors and new actors where we will be seeing an apt amalgamation in the form of Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma. 

Cirkus is all set to go on floors next month where the shooting and production schedule of the film will officially be starting in November 2020 and is going to be shot extensively in Mumbai, Ooty and Goa.

T-Series will be presenting the film in theatres in association with Reliance Entertainment. Also Cirkus will be produced and directed by Rohit Shetty. The film will hit the silver screens in December 2021.
