Mona Singh is riding high on the success of her latest web series “Made in Heaven” Season 2, and in a recent interview with Galatta Plus, the actress shared an incident from the time of “3 Idiots” rehearsals.
Mona recounted her experience of working with Aamir Khan. She mentioned that during the rehearsals for the film, she had the chance to meet the entire team. She expressed, “When I was shooting for ‘3 Idiots,’ that was the first time I was working with the entire team and I saw Aamir sir and I was like, ‘Oh my god, what is he doing?’ We had about 100 rehearsals, and in each rehearsal, he brought something different to the table. As a TV actor, I was not accustomed to so many rehearsals.”
Mona further shared her feelings of ‘tiredness’ and ‘boredom’ during those intensive rehearsals. She then recounted Aamir’s response to her remarks. “Why are we doing so many rehearsals?’ So, Aamir replied, ‘Mona, this is a movie. What are you talking about? This is not a TV show where an episode is going out tomorrow. This movie will release next year. We have to work hard. We will do one scene a day’,” she revealed. Mona also collaborated with Aamir in 2022’s “Laal Singh Chaddha.”
Speaking about her role in “Made in Heaven” Season 2, she portrays one of the wedding planners, Bulbul Jauhari, in the Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti series.
