Bollywood singer KK passed away on Tuesday 31 May. The sudden demise came as a shock to his fans and the Bollywood industry. While KK’s death is survived by his wife Jyothy and two children, Nakul Krishna Kunnath, and a daughter, Taamara Kunnath. His family recently reached Kolkata on Wednesday, June 1 to take his body to Mumbai after the autopsy.
KK Reveals About Dating Wife Jyothy
During his appearance at Kapil Sharma Show, the singer revealed that he met his wife Jyothy when he was in the sixth standard. Discussing his love life, the singer revealed that to marry Jyothy he did a sales job as he was unemployed. He worked for that job for around three long years after which he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a singer. He also revealed that his wife Jyothy has been the only woman in his life as he never dated anyone except her. The couple tied the knot in 1991. Later the singer got his first big break in music in 1994.
The singer also revealed about shifting to Mumbai from Delhi, he mentioned that his wife was his motivation and the person who encouraged him to move. He said, “It was a very stagnant existence that I was leading. I was doing jingles, producing jingles, advertising, and all that. But there was only that much I could do. I was getting to a dead end. I had got married just three years ago and my wife Jyothy became the reason for me to move to Bombay.” The couple has two children, Nakul Krishna Kunnath, and a daughter, Tamaara Kunnath.
KK’s family was spotted at the Kolkata airport early Wednesday morning. The singer’s body will be taken to Mumbai after the autopsy is complete. The autopsy will be conducted at SSKM Hospital in Kolkata to ascertain the cause of death. According to reports, police will also check the CCTV footage at the Grand Hotel and talk to the staff and the event organizers.
