Kartik Aaryan has had a splendorous 2019. He ruled the Box Office with Luka Chuppi in the first half of the year, while the second half of the year witnessed the grand success of Pati Patni Aur Woh. Instead of being a newbie in the BTown, Kartik has surely laid his foundation for a long stay.
Kartik Aaryan has again made it into the headlines with the rumors of being signed in Imtiaz Ali’s next production. If the hearsay is correct then the young actor will be seen playing the role of Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila. The movie is said to be a biopic of this late singer.
Amar Singh Chamkila who was a popular singer in the 80s was killed brutally by a group of armed youths on a motorcycle. This tragedy also included the death of Amar’s wife and two of his band members. The case remains unsolved till the date.
It will be interesting to see Imtiaz’s take on this incident, and surely with this film, Kartik can expand his horizon as an actor instead of being stuck with comedy genre. On the work front, Kartik and Imtiaz have already collaborated for Love Aaj Kal 2; its shoot has currently been wrapped up. This movie will feature Kartik along with Sara Ali Khan as the lead cast. Love Aaj Kal 2 will release on the Valentine Day in 2020.
Kartik Aarayn is ready to scale more heights with films like “Dostana 2” and “Bhul Bhulaiya 2” under his wings. These movies are also going to be releasing in 2020.
