Kangana Ranaut’s Reaction On Not Winning National Award This Year While Alia Wins

Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram story and commented on not winning the National Award for Thalaivii while Alia Bhatt won Best Actress award for Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt won her first-ever National Award this year for her remarkable performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Gangubai Kathiawadi. She shared the “Best Actress Award” with Kriti Sanon who was recognized for her work in film Mimi. Alia Bhatt is often targeted by Kangana Ranaut for nepotism and friendship with Karan Johar. Kangana has also made several shocking comments about Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s marriage in the recent past. Kangana, who is a four-time National Award winner reacted to Alia’s victory this year. Meanwhile, she also spoke about not winning the award for Thalaivii.

Kangana wrote in her Instagram story, “Congratulations to all the winners of National Awards 2023. It’s such an art carnival that brings all the artists across the country together…It’s truly magical to know and to get introduced to so much important work that’s happening across all languages.”

Reacting to not winning a National Award herself this year, Kangana addressed her fans, “All of you who are disappointed that my film Thalaivii didn’t win any…Please know that I am eternally grateful for whatever Krishna give and didn’t give me and all of you who really love and appreciate my perspective as well. Art is subjective and I truly believe that the jury did their best. I wish everyone the best. Hare Krishna.”

Kangana Ranaut played the role of actress turned politician Jayalalithaa in her biopic titled Thalaivii. The actress will be next seen in Chandramukhi 2, Tejas and Emergency.
