Even after having an elder sister Sonu Kakkar as a popular singer in the music industry, Neha chose to battle her way through in the industry. At the age of just 4, Neha started singing. With musical genes running in her veins it wouldn’t take long for her to gain recognition.
In 2006, Neha auditioned in the second season of singing reality show Indian Idol and competed in it. After the show was completed Neha released her first album ‘Neha The Rock Star’ in 2008 but this album didn’t kick off well. It was five years later in 2013 when Neha got her first playback break-in ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ with the song ‘Dhating Naach’.
A year later Neha produced two back to back super hits like ‘Sunny Sunny’ in ‘Yaariyan’ and ‘London Thumakda’ in ‘Queen’. After all these songs Neha never looked back and now has sung many blockbusters like ‘Dilbar’, ‘Kala Chashma’, ‘Manali Trance’, etc.
For the 10th season of Indian Idol Neha completed the circle of her life as she became the judge of the same singing reality show she contested in.
