An FIR has been filed against Kangana Ranaut in Karnataka for her tweet on farmers’ protest against the new farmer bill. The case was registered by police in Karnataka’s Tumakuru district under IPC sections, including 108 (abetment), want on vilification upon a community (153A) and intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace (504).
The complaint by filed by a lawyer who alleged that Kangana’s comment hurt him. The lawyer had written in his plea, “….this posting on twitter account of the accused posted by her may lead to collision between the people of different group believe in different ideology. It seems that the government authorities have turned a blind eye to the same and does not have any established measures or rules and guidelines to control and regulate the same. On the bare perusal of all these content it is more than evident that the government is least bothered and as usual waiting for some dangerous consequences to happen before taking some appropriate actions
He alleged that Kangana Ranaut has a clear intention to injure the people who are opposing the farm bills
When farmers all over the country were protesting against the new bill, Kangana wrote on her Twitter handle, “People who spread misinformation and rumors about CAA that caused riots are the same people who are now spreading misinformation about farmers bill and causing terror in the nation, they are terrorists. You very well know what I said but simply like to spread misinformation.”
Well, Kangana is called the queen of controversies for a reason. We now have to see how the actor reacts to this FIR against her.
