Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar were two major anticipated films released last year in December. Both films saw a direct clash at the box office. As per the reports, both Dunki and Salaar witnessed growth during their second weekend at the box office.
Dunki Box Office Collection Day 11
After seeing a continuous drop on Friday, Dunki witnessed huge growth on the second weekend at the box office. As per Sacnilk, Dunki earned 9cr on Saturday and around 12cr on Sunday which also marked New Year’s Eve. Dunki now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 188.22 Cr. Reportedly, Dunki has grossed a whopping ₹361.30 crore worldwide.
Salaar Box Office Collection Day 10
Meanwhile, Prabhas starrer Salaar also witnessed huge growth during the second weekend at the box office. Salaar earned ₹ 12.55 Cr on Saturday, and ₹ 14.50 Cr on Sunday, taking the domestic total to a whopping ₹ 344.67 Cr. Reportedly Salaar currently stands at a worldwide box office collection of a total ₹504.6 crores.
About Dunki
Directed by 3 Idiots director, Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki is an upcoming comedy-drama Bollywood film based on “donkey flights”, an illegal immigration entry technique. The film will feature an ensemble cast featuring superstar Shah Rukh Khan alongside Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, and others. Dunki was released in theatres on 21 December 2023.
About Salaar
Salaar will be a Telugu action thriller film, directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. The film will feature Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. Apart from them the film also stars Jagapati Babu, Eshwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy in significant roles. The film was released in theatres on December 22, 2023, in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
