A multitude of eagerly anticipated and long-awaited films have been announced for release in 2024. Among them are highly anticipated sequels such as “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” “Hera Pheri 3,” and “Singham Again,” among others. With a plethora of releases lined up for the year, there’s anticipation for potential box office clashes, especially during the Diwali season of 2024. Here’s the list of films that are expected to face a box office clash this Diwali.
- Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3
Recently makers announced that OG Manjulika and Bollywood actress Vidya Balan will be joining the third installment of popular franchise Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. As per the latest reports, Kartik Aryan, Vidya Balan, Rajpal Yadav, and Madhuri Dixit have been finalized as the cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The shoot begins in March, and the film is expected to hit the theatres this Diwali.
2. Hera Pheri 3
The popular film Hera Pheri will be having a sequel, and that’s confirmed. It is reported that the sequel will feature the iconic trio of Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty. It is reported that the film went on floors in December 2023 and will be released on Diwali this year.
3. Singham Again
Rohit Shetty will be coming back with his iconic cop universe “Singham Again,” marking the fifth installment in the franchise and a sequel to “Singham Returns” (2014). The film will star Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone and others. Singham Again is also expected to hit the theatres this Diwali.
4. Prem Ki Shaadi
Last but not least, Salman Khan is reportedly set to collaborate with Sooraj Barjatya for his next movie, ‘Prem Ki Shaadi’. Rumors are floating around claiming that the film will be released this Diwali.
However, an official confirmation about the release of all the abovementioned films is still awaited.
