Did You Know Kriti Sanon Had A Backup Plan If She Didn’t Make It Big In Bollywood? Read to know

Kriti Moved To Mumbai And While She Was Striving To Secure A Film Role, She Also Attended Coaching Classes To Prepare For The Gmat Exam

Kriti Sanon, who recently won a National Award for her role in the 2021 movie “Mimi,” shared some intriguing stories about her entry into Bollywood in a recent interview with Curly Tales. The actress revealed that her parents had advised her to have a backup plan in case her Bollywood career didn’t take off, suggesting that she consider enrolling in a business school.

“It didn’t take much convincing, but I had to provide them with a backup plan. I had to take the GMAT exam and score well,” she explained.

Kriti moved to Mumbai and while she was striving to secure a film role, she also attended coaching classes to prepare for the GMAT exam. She recounted, “I had just relocated to Mumbai and was attending GMAT preparation classes while pursuing opportunities in movies and modeling. I secured my first Telugu film (Mahesh Babu’s ‘1: Nenokkadine’) and also landed ‘Heropanti.’ ‘Heropanti’ was scheduled to commence a bit later, and my second schedule for the Telugu film was set to begin after two months. So, I took the GMAT exam during that break.”

She empathized with her parents’ concerns, coming from a middle-class, non-film background. Kriti emphasized that having a backup plan allowed her to maintain her passion for acting without desperation.

“I understand my parents’ concerns, coming from a middle-class, non-film family. Having a plan B means you’re not desperate anymore. You remain passionate but not desperate. It’s a fine line,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon is eagerly awaiting the release of her upcoming movie “Ganapath Part 1.” In this film, she shares the screen with her “Heropanti” co-star Tiger Shroff and Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the movie is scheduled to hit theaters on October 20. Additionally, the actress has Rhea Kapoor’s “The Crew” and an untitled romantic film with Shahid Kapoor in the pipeline.
