Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi’s kissing scene in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani caught people’s attention and everybody’s been talking about it since then. Their chemistry seems to have won people’s hearts more than the lead actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. At an interactive session, 87-year-old Dharmendra talked about his kiss with Shabana in the film. He said, “Captain (Karan Johar) accha ho to team khoob khelti hai. Maine jab ye kahaani suni, mujhe laga ye ghar ghar ki kahaani hai. (If the captain is good, then the team enjoys. When I heard this story, I thought that it is a story of a regular household.)
He continued, “Logon ke bohot saare messages aa rahe hai ki Dharamji aapne aisa aisa kiya..Arey yaar yeh toh mere daayein haath ka kaam hai. Baayein haath se kuch karaana ho to vo bhi kra lo (People are texting me about the scene. But it was such an easy task for me. I can do more than that).
Dharmendra added, “Jab jab mauka milta hai, chakka maar deta hoon (Whenever I get a chance, I grab it).
Dharmendra had a humble take on the love he has been receiving from millions of his fans for decades. He sweetly said, “Aap logon ne dil me jo jagah de rakhi hai..use jaane nahi dunga. Aise hi bnaaye rakhunga kyunki mujhe banna nahi aata. Mai haqiqat hoon. Jo dil mein hai, man mein hai, vo keh deta hoon. Aur mohabbat se badh kar kuch nahi. (The place that you have given me in your hearts, I will never lose it. I am real. I say whatever is in my heart. And there’s nothing bigger than love).
