BhaiyyaJiBoxOffice: “Bhaiyya Ji,” a revenge drama starring Manoj Bajpayee and directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, who also helmed “Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai,” opened to mixed reviews on Friday. This film is a landmark in Bajpayee’s career, being his 100th movie and featuring him in a significant leading role in a commercially oriented film.
Bhaiyya Ji Box Office Collection Day 1
Industry tracker Sacnilk reports that “Bhaiyya Ji” earned Rs 1.30 crore at the box office on its opening day. This collection significantly surpasses Manoj Bajpayee’s previous theatrical release, “Joram,” which garnered only Rs 40 lakh during its entire one-week run in theaters.
“Bhaiyya Ji” had a 9.45% overall Hindi occupancy on Friday, with night shows drawing nearly 12% of viewers. In Mumbai, with 325 shows, occupancy was 8.75%, while Delhi and NCR saw 9.50% occupancy across 457 shows.
The film faced competition with the Hollywood film, “Furiosa: A Mad Saga” and the Malayalam film, “Turbo” starring Mammootty. Both the films were also released this week in the theatres. Talking about Bhaiyya Ji, the film can see growth during the upcoming weekend (Saturday-Sunday).
